Step 4: What is my Overt Benefit?

The final step of exercise 1 – what’s my Benefit
Think of it this way – when you purchasing a product, or considering using a service, their overt benefit is generally the push you over the edge, make you hand them over your cash, benefit.
Example: Rogers (approximately 6 months ago)
“We are the only 3G network in Canada.” – That was their overt benefit, they had the only service that would allow people to use an iPhone. That has changed, and so may yours but that for another day.
So what is my overt benefit?
- I have the ability to take complex problems or situations, simplify they and present them in a manner that most people will understand. – “Like getting people down a hill with a 2×4 strapped to the bottom of their feet”
